.....

The LV 2008 DSLR Phone from China is not the cutest phone to hit the market, but quite unique. It has a mere 1.3 mega pixel camera, making it very weak; however it comes w/ a frightening or chic 3x optical zoom lens.

-obnoxious i find it.

Trim Trim

Cut...

They trimmed down all the plants and bushes today outside my dorm window. You can notice the major height difference if you look at the background basketball hoop.

Feeling Down?

Listen....

You say you hit rock-bottom, but thats exactly where its always been.

God is that rock-bottom foundation that was always there in your highs and your lows. When you hit rock-bottom, its just another way of seeing how God is always there to hold you firm. DEPEND on Him, because without Him we are absolutely dead, useless, weak, and lost.

" God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,..."
Psalms 46:1-2

Take this and meditate on His Word.

This is also helpful. Watch these amazing graphics and enjoy what I find quite fascinating.

3 Things

From this experience...

3 Things that are everywhere, but its just cooler in Vegas:

1. Automatic Sensored foam-dispensing soap.
2. Changing colored-lights that fade from color to color
3. Jim on The Gap ads

3 Things I hate from Vegas trip:

1. Tropicana Hotel
2. My brother complaining all the time
3. Waiting for elevators and being denied b/c its full.

ONE THING: Family

-Look at the longest entry ever below!

Vegas!

PREPARE YOURSELF FOR LONG ENTRY!!

Day 1

FOOD!! We got there pretty late so went to the new hotel Planet Hollywood and ate at their Spice Market Buffet! It was pretty good!

I arranged the food to look nice! ;] mwhaha

ROUND 1: Seafood!

Round 2
: American/ Italian the roast lamb and prime rib was yummy.

Round 3
: Soup / Salad mmm roasted baby carrots are sooo sweet.

Round 4
: Dessert part 1

Round 5
: Dessert Part 2 YUMMY!!! creme brulee!!!

Look how crisp the sugar layer is!!! mwhaha~! YUMMM my FAVORITE ahh the fat!

=[]

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Woe is my small stomach!! If you think about it... I didn't eat much for a buffet. ><

NIGHT TIME!

We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel on The Strip.

Not
the best hotel ever
.

I will discuss that later.

My parents slept on the queen-sized bed,

my brother on the fold-out bed w/ his dirty feet, and me on the sofa cushions on the floor. ><

It was NOT a four person room --but being grateful was important.

DAY 2

We woke up knowing it was Black Friday-- but we were lazy sleeping in till 10. We went to shop at the Las Vegas Outlets. We also went to Fry's Electronics and my brother bought an external hard drive and I got a printer for 15 dollars!

Yay for mister Fry
!

Went to this fancy restaurant called Louis's Las Vegas. Made us wait an hour for our food, not worth the wait. They made it up to us by giving us free dessert. Of course I ordered the creme brulee, and my parents ordered the pecan pie. The creme brulee was the best i've ever tasted! YUMM!

After we went to view hotels and their shopping areas. We went to Caesars Palace, The Venetician, and Paris.

The Venetian has great performers.

Like this statue nun-ish woman and the gangster accordion player man.

And of COURSE they had the Venice Grand Canal Gondola singers! I want to go to Venice!

Casears Palace had the centurion guards , of course.

NIGHT 2!!

We decided to go to the "highly-acclaimed" Japanese sushi buffet, Makino's, that Allan, Jennifer, and others raved about.

There were no standard rolls, but there there were the basic Sashimi variety.

All were not fresh because I saw them arrange the frozen fillets in a HUGE freezer.

=.= i felt bad- My family did not really enjoy it -- especially for the reasons that it was 25 dollars per person.

The crepe was weird--BUT the udon and tempura was tasty! (:

DAY 3

Woke up early to drive to Arcadia to roam around. Ate lunch at a Korean restaurant-- After we went to Tea station and the Fashion Daly Mall?

We went to Din Tai Fung Dumpling house for dinner. LONG WAIT--this is normal! When our number was called we were asked to walk a 1 min walk to the new site. It was funny-- like a field trip! (:

The new site looks much roomier and clean with a fusion cut. The chopsticks showed how to properly eat a dumpling.. but I forgot to take #2... I guess we will never know how to eat a dumpling. [david puts the wole thing in his mouth anyways ;) ]

-zzz Back to school boooo.

On the Note

Same day as Sushi Davis day...

Went to Shabuway with David before meeting up with Ryan.

He was suppose to come, but he left his wallet in San Jose. Shabuway was really good, because the MEAT!! ARG! So delicious!!!

On a later note...

David
and I met up Ryan at Eggettes. We stayed there for a while to chat it up with Mandy, Gerrick, and the other employees.

........................

We went to Ryan's house to play Mario Party 8 on Wii. [ Fun fun fun, but sad because I never have the chance to do well.. because of SOMEONE! ]

boooo

Next noted day...

The next day I hung out with Ryan and David again. Went to Costco to buy pizza for Eggettes. They were surprised to see us again, and again we went to Ryan's house to play Wii before my dinner.

They drove me back home for my family Thanksgiving dinner. We ate lots of delicious experimental foods. My dad was experimenting with a variety of ingrediences. He made curry chicken in a Japanese-looking pumpkin which was sooo flavorful. He also had a spinach vinaigrette salad topped with diced persimmons, papaya, mangoes, walnuts, and ham. mmmmmm. My baby cousin was crying that day though. ):

My other cousin is selling these bags that can reverse into a lil mini pouch easy for carrying in your purse. Its for buying groceries, because San Francisco is canceling all plastic bags in most major stores, supermarkets, and grocery stores.

-go green! [Las Vegas updates coming SOON! ]
