In Film as Literature class we watched Local Heroes (1983) by Bill Forsyth.

I would highly recommend this movie. It really sets you to a new location and brings an open-mindedness to all viewers.

Team Millennia, who won the VIBE 13 hip hop dance competition, did a zombie-ish dance. The costume, lighting, and backdrops were awesome. I found a Tech Rehearsal before the show for you; notice the coffin [no costumes/lighting/or backdrops--just pure dance].

TRAIN ME!

Today was the first day at work. I only made one mistake!

Haha She asks me, "Are you comfortable handling this by yourself?" My boss hadn't taken a break so she was asking if I could handle the store by myself.

I did not expect her to trust me at all, being that its my first day. I said I wasn't comfortable. =]

Overall it was fun and a bit chaotic at times.



A girl told me I made good foam =D. The other worker who worked before me was sooo messy. Hahah funny compared to eggettes.

Went to UCI today for the 13th annual VIBE Hip Hop Dance competition. I've always wanted to go ever since I was in SF.

Finally!!!


It was VERY entertaining and I finally got to see Funkanometry SF!!

Coffee anyone?

My workplace, Emendare, is a small coffee shop in Concordia University.

It was suppose to be my first day of training, from 6:30 PM - 10:30, but my trainer was not there because she had a seizer and is now in the hospital.

Pray that she will get better.

So instead, I just chatted up with the current workers and they kind of gave me some instructions and let me read the list of drinks and their recipes. =]

NEW: overdosed on illegal drugs-- not sleeping pills.

These are amongst the many titles given to the shoking events of what was done in the name of art.
Yesterday, Graziano Cecchini, a Spanish artists, flooded the famous landmark, The Spanish Steps, with colorful plastic balls resembling those found in children's playhouses.

Cecchini, who on Oct. 19, 2007 dyed Rome's world famous Trevi Fountain red. These all in the name of contemporary experimental art.

-Rome is where I want to be.

On an educational note...

My classes on Tues and Thursdays are packed!
11:10 - 4:50 all back to back classes. I have room 124 for my first and my last class with different teachers; however my two classes in between those are taught by the same teacher. Wow... Having the same teacher for two classes in a row... so repetitive. Good thing my teachers are interesting and my classes are interesting, but I know I will be doing a TON of writing and researching. @.@

-Must organize!

Back To School

Spring 2008.

Yes, it comes a time where a month's worth of vacation flies by in what seems like a day.


Today I started my first class of this semester at 11 AM! YAY!

I only have one class on mondays and it lasts only an hour. I plan to apply for a job at the campus coffee shop.
