!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Woe is my small stomach!! If you think about it... I didn't eat much for a buffet. ><

NIGHT TIME!

We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel on The Strip.

Not
the best hotel ever
.

I will discuss that later.

My parents slept on the queen-sized bed,

my brother on the fold-out bed w/ his dirty feet, and me on the sofa cushions on the floor. ><

It was NOT a four person room --but being grateful was important.

DAY 2

We woke up knowing it was Black Friday-- but we were lazy sleeping in till 10. We went to shop at the Las Vegas Outlets. We also went to Fry's Electronics and my brother bought an external hard drive and I got a printer for 15 dollars!

Yay for mister Fry
!

Went to this fancy restaurant called Louis's Las Vegas. Made us wait an hour for our food, not worth the wait. They made it up to us by giving us free dessert. Of course I ordered the creme brulee, and my parents ordered the pecan pie. The creme brulee was the best i've ever tasted! YUMM!

After we went to view hotels and their shopping areas. We went to Caesars Palace, The Venetician, and Paris.

The Venetian has great performers.

Like this statue nun-ish woman and the gangster accordion player man.

And of COURSE they had the Venice Grand Canal Gondola singers! I want to go to Venice!

Casears Palace had the centurion guards , of course.

NIGHT 2!!

We decided to go to the "highly-acclaimed" Japanese sushi buffet, Makino's, that Allan, Jennifer, and others raved about.

There were no standard rolls, but there there were the basic Sashimi variety.

All were not fresh because I saw them arrange the frozen fillets in a HUGE freezer.

=.= i felt bad- My family did not really enjoy it -- especially for the reasons that it was 25 dollars per person.

The crepe was weird--BUT the udon and tempura was tasty! (:

DAY 3

Woke up early to drive to Arcadia to roam around. Ate lunch at a Korean restaurant-- After we went to Tea station and the Fashion Daly Mall?

We went to Din Tai Fung Dumpling house for dinner. LONG WAIT--this is normal! When our number was called we were asked to walk a 1 min walk to the new site. It was funny-- like a field trip! (:

The new site looks much roomier and clean with a fusion cut. The chopsticks showed how to properly eat a dumpling.. but I forgot to take #2... I guess we will never know how to eat a dumpling. [david puts the wole thing in his mouth anyways ;) ]

-zzz Back to school boooo.
